Eating more organic foods
Food can contain many harmful ingredients that we would not expect to find. These could be a result of chemical fertilizers used on fruits and vegetables, or artificial hormones or antibiotics given to animals. Organic foods try to avoid these harmful kinds of additives and produce food naturally. Eating more organic foods can help you to avoid harmful ingredients that can be found in food produced more industrially.
Organic farming is also much better for the environment than conventional industrial farming. Cutting out the use of pesticides and fertilisers means fewer poisoned rivers and ecosystems. Less intensive farming is also better for the climate as healthier soils emit far less Nitrous Oxide, a major greenhouse gas. Goal Thermometer 72 have pledged their commitment - help us get to 100
