Ask how products are manufactured before purchasing them.
A product you are about to purchase does not tell you everything about itself on the label. It may have been made by a child who is paid a small wage to work in harsh conditions. It may have been manufactured in a country where the profits from its sale are used to oppress the local population. It may have been produced in a factory that pollutes the local environment. The more you know about how a product is manufactured, the better decisions you’ll be able to make next time you are at the store.
